Exploring your Area: Then turning them around to benefit you!
Every one knows the need to do everything to get healthy and stay healthy. But most of the
time there is lack of motivation and time to do all that is needed. But to not give it high priority and postpone until the
next time to do new years’ resolution is nothing but a PR. How many home exercise equipments have collected dust and
are used to hang clothes to dry! With out taking practical step to change this habit and taking action to make time and joining
a club in your area or network with others with Eritrean friends it is not easy. It is never too late as today is the start
of the rest of your life to take steps to achieve fitness.
I wish I had some frightening statistics to help me scare some of us join sporting activities.
But steps like
a- getting off the bus [if it is not on strike] one or two stops earlier and walk the rest.
b- Walk [to de-stress] 30 minutes [which is the minimum amount of time for exercise per day]
at break time!
c- Drinking plenty of water [since we lose 2 litre of water through our saliva alone we might
as well replace it daily]!
d- Do sit ups, push ups, squats and so on that does not require much effort.
e- Cycling [make sure you wear Hi-Viz Jacket]
Are a few to start.
But to do further development work it is worth exploring the area you live in and be organised
and have continuation.
